  • CBD can be addictive

There’s no truth to this as well. No matter the form it comes in, CBD isn’t addictive. In fact, some studies have shown that CBD can help to minimize the addictive side effects of several pills used in pain management. 

  • You can only get CBD in the oil form

In truth, CBD oil is the most popular variant of CBD. However, the compound doesn’t come in just oil form. You can find CBD-based edibles, creams, vape juice, drinks, pills, and even smoke flowers.

CBD sellers have been able to adapt their products to fit the needs of today’s users. So, if you want to start using CBD products, you have much more options than just oil.

  • There’s no science to back CBD’s perceived health benefits

Some people believe that CBD is just a marketing buzzword. This belief is wrong.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Epidiolex – a CBD-based drug that helps treat seizure disorders. This is the first cannabis-based medication to get FDA approval.

Several scientific studies suggest CBD as a remedy for different medical conditions. These include:

And many more.

  • CBD’s effects start showing in just a few hours

People also tend to expect to see CBD’s effects so quickly. Sadly, this isn’t how it works.

In truth, some people might notice a quick improvement in their symptoms. However, some people might also not feel any change at all. For these people, it is important to take CBD for much longer before noticing any difference.

So, if you don’t see immediate effects, you might want to keep taking the CBD product for a while longer.

  • You need high doses of CBD to see effects

While high doses might show more results, it might not be the best choice for you to consume too much CBD. CBD isolates have a particularly peak effective amount, where higher and lower doses on each side start to lose efficiency. Sadly, it isn’t easy to point this peak efficiency out.

Due to this, it might seem that full-spectrum CBD products are more efficient than CBD isolate products. This is because these extracts provide more cannabinoids, terpenes, and chemicals that provide additional health and therapy benefits.

For now, there is no ideal dose for any condition.
